Mauritian Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail visits Amma in Amritapuri

Mauritian Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Mr. Alan Ganoo, visited the Amritapuri Ashram and had a private meeting with Amma. The discussion mainly focused on the topics of good governance and effective government services for society. They also discussed possible ways to improve the quality of life for people, both materially and mentally. 

Ganoo has been elected nine times from the same constituency and has assumed the office of Minister in various ministries since 1991. He studied Law at Middle Temple and King’s College, London, and has been practising as a barrister since 1975. 

He believes that spirituality is an essential aspect of an individual’s life, with universal principles of love and justice serving as a solid base to serve humanity. He is a devoted follower of Amma and was a special invited guest at Amritavarsham50, Amma’s 50th birthday celebrations in Kochi.
