Amma is the Chair of the Civil 20 Engagement Group (C20) for India’s G20 Presidency. Its purpose is to bring the concerns of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to the Heads of State of the world’s leading economies. As this year’s host country, the G20 Summit will take place in New Delhi September 9-10, 2023. The Mata Amritanandamayi Math is leading five working groups under C20: Sustainable and Resilient Communities; Education and Digitial Transformation; Integrated Holistic Health; Technology, Security and Transparency; and Gender Equality and Disability.
