Amma launched AYUDH Pune 2019 project ‘Punarjani’- The River Clean up and Maintenance Project during the second leg of Her Bharat Yatra 2019.

Inspired by Amma’s teachings, AYUDHians adopt 5 KMs of ‘Pavana’ river crossing the cities of Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune and do the cleanup and maintenance starting from Boat Club Thergaon. The modules include clean up the river and river shore, install dust bins in the river premises, make compost out of the water moss, plant trees on the river shore, paint the walls in that area with awareness quotes about the nature, awareness campaigns in the societies & institutions on the river shore and maintain the whole area for one year. Amma blessed and launched the project on March 1st during Her Pune visit. Two AYUDH representatives received the symbolic ‘pitcher’ from the hands of Amma and three dignitaries- Mr Anil Shirole, Member of Parliament, Pune, Mr Mahesh Landge, MLA and Ms Shweta Shalini, Advisor to CM, Maharashtra. The dignitaries distributed native tree saplings to AYUDHians which will be planted on the shore of the river.
