In Episode 18 of Amrit Ganga, Amma says that when things don’t happen according to our wish, it may be the result of our past karma. We should not blame fate. Instead of lamenting and crying, we should accept it and move forward. If someone slips and falls, by merely lamenting about the fall, he won’t be able to move forward. He should think ‘Maybe this situation happened to make me more alert.’ Fate is nothing but the result of our past actions. But we can’t understand the subtle aspects of karma. The law of karma is not limited by time and space. This is why Amma says not to blame fate, but to accept the experiences that come.
